-
60 ml freshly brewed espresso (2 shots)
-
120 ml oat milk (preferably barista-style)
-
15 ml brown sugar syrup
-
0.5 g ground cinnamon
-
150 g ice cubes
-
2 g brown sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
01
Prepare two shots of espresso using your preferred coffee beans. Set aside briefly while preparing the remaining ingredients.
02
In a cocktail shaker, combine the freshly brewed espresso, brown sugar syrup and ground cinnamon. Stir gently to dissolve and incorporate the flavours.
03
Add approximately 100 g of ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the espresso is chilled, lightly frothy and well combined.
04
Fill a tall glass with the remaining 50 g of ice, then strain the shaken espresso mixture over the ice, allowing the delicate foam to settle on top.
05
Slowly pour the oat milk over the espresso, creating a beautiful layered effect. Gently stir if desired to combine the flavours.
06
Finish with a light dusting of ground cinnamon and serve immediately.
